Volunteer: Electrify Bend Committee Volunteer

350Deschutes is part of the 350.org network, a global climate advocacy organization. We work on a local and statewide level in Oregon to build awareness of the need for climate action at all levels, individual, corporate, government, and organization.,We need to build power through advocacy by reaching out to influential people, businesses and groups who want Bend to utilize clean energy. We are working with the Bend City Council and others to support and endorse the electrification of our town. This is a constantly evolving and learning group who needs dedicated and passionate volunteers able to write OP/ED pieces, research how other communities are making this happen, testify in support to the Bend City Council, as well as other actions and education.Ready to get started?
