The high-quality and high-energy soccer classes run weekly throughout East and South San Diego. We proudly serve and partner with Preschools, Elementary Schools, and Public Parks, serving thousands of families every week.Summary:Soccer Shots is seeking energetic, reliable, and engaging individuals, especially those studying or interested in sports science, kinesiology, physical education, or related fields. Our coaches don’t just run drills—they lead dynamic sessions that keep kids moving, learning, and having fun. If you enjoy being active, working with kids, and making an impact through sport, this is the place for you.This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for those who want hands-on experience leading groups, staying active, and developing coaching skills. You’ll lead structured, high-energy soccer sessions while helping children build motor skills, confidence, and a love for movement. This role will keep you on your feet, as you demonstrate, run, and interact with kids throughout each session.What We’re Looking For:High energy and enthusiasm, comfortable leading and engaging groups of childrenInterest in sports, fitness, kinesiology, or physical educationConfidence being “on stage” and leading activitiesStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to stay positive, patient, and adaptable with young childrenResponsibilities:Coach 10 - 20 classes a week, dependent on availability Attend monthly coaching meetings and training sessionsAbility to follow and execute a predesigned curriculum, adapting to children’s needsEncourage character development through positive reinforcement and early childhood education techniquesUphold and follow all safety standards while children are in careCommunicate with families, caregivers, and teachersRequirements:Ability to run, play, and engage with childrenLift and transport sports equipment (approx. 40 pounds)Driver’s License and car, willing to drive to classes all over San DiegoAvailable at least two weekdays and Saturdays 1-year commitmentProof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire OR proof of a negative TB test within 2 weeks after date of hireAbility to provide a cleared fingerprint background checkPay and Benefits:No prior coaching experience required (training provided)$18–$23/hr for coaching sessions (based on experience)Mileage reimbursement (IRS rate)Monthly cell phone stipend401(k) with employer match after 90 daysQuarterly performance bonusesPaid training and professional developmentCompany events and team culture initiativesOpportunities for pay increases and growth If you’re looking for a role where you can stay active, build coaching experience, and make a real impact on kids through sport, we’d love to hear from you.
