If you’re someone who likes variety in your day and takes pride in keeping things on track while having a little fun along the way, we’d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team. Play a key role in shaping employee experiences by organizing meetings, special events, and engaging programsAssist with financial recordkeeping and process accounts payable and receivableBe the welcoming face and voice of the HR Department by providing excellent customer service, answering calls, and greeting visitorsManage departmental calendars and appointment schedulesMaintain and update employee records with accuracy and confidentialityHelp onboard new employees by preparing materials and ensuring a smooth start. Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparationManage employee badges and coordinate supply ordering and inventorySupport employee training programs by preparing and organizing documentation. Process employment verificationsCollaborate with team members and assist with special projects as opportunities ariseMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in business or accounting preferredTwo (2) – four (4) years of administrative and clerical experienceOr equivalent education and experienceValid Commonwealth of Virginia driver’s license may be requiredProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelSkills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of human resource assistance, accounting, and clerical dutiesUnderstanding of relevant laws, standards, and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetlyProficient in data entry and basic accounting functionsAttention to detail and ability to identify discrepanciesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn and utilize new skills to improve job performanceWhy Join Us?Become a valuable member of a dedicated team where your skills and expertise will play a crucial role in the effective operation of HR.
