Join the Gaco team, a trusted name in building envelope solutions with a heritage dating back to 1955.We're seeking a Maintenance Technician A who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Maintenance Technician position supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm Mon - FriWHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHPerform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be madeAssemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mindTroubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actionsIdentify failed components and determine necessary replacement partsInteract directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional mannerUtilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performedComply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operationsLocate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processesMaintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in a organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliablyWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORHigh school diplomaFive or more years' experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing Preventive (planned) and Corrective (unplanned) MaintenanceKnowledge of and experience working in all the following areas:• Power Transmission - chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings, brakes, couplings, etc.• Lubrication - oils, greases, storage and handling, application, etc.• Hydraulics & Pneumatics - valves, actuators, compressors and pumps, piping andtubing, etc.• DC Circuits - relays, contactors, power supplies, etc.• AC Circuits (120V to 480V) - motors, drives, transformers, etc. Process Controls• Industrial Automation - robotics, PID, machine control, etc.• PLCs & Networking - Allen Bradly,communication, signals, I/O, LANs, etc.Desired:Associates degree or 2+ years of vocational trainingExperience with maintenance technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Ultrasound Inspection, Oil Analysis, and Precision AlignmentCertifications in mechanical/industrial fields (electrician, millwright, welding, controls etc.)Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT)WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive CompensationRetirement SavingsEmployee Stock Purchase PlanMedical, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance CoverageHolistic Health & Well-Being ProgramsHealth Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for Health and Dependent CareVision and other Voluntary Benefits and DiscountsPaid Time Off and HolidaysPaid Parental Leave (Maternity and Paternity)Educational Assistance ProgramBUILDING INCLUSIVE WORKSPACESAt Amrize, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
