Engineer the systems that keep the world flying!Create innovative testing solutions, develop powerful tools, and support advanced systems that ensure aircraft component performance.If you're ready to innovate, inspire, and make a real impact - step into your next challenge with us! ️TasksAs the Test Engineer, Electrical, you will perform the following duties:Specify or develop tools, test fixtures, and automated test stands as needed using standard test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter, Function Generators, Counters, etc.), specialized test equipment, and software development tools (Visual Basic and LabVIEW) for new component repair capabilitiesWrite technical specifications and create drawings using CAD toolsCreate test instructions and procedures for component testingAssist in training technicians in the use of test equipmentProvide engineering support for calibration and maintenance of all test equipment as neededInterface with customer technical representatives to refine specifications, design goals, and schedulesComply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirementsAll other duties as assigned or requiredRequirementsTo thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:High school diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree in Electrical and/ or Computer Engineering or equivalent requiredMaster's degree desirableMin 2-5 years of experience in Engineering / Aviation MRO Engineering desirableExperience in designing Tooling and Test Equipment to meet CMM requirement desirableExperience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues desirableFluency in English language requiredKnowledge of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Business (MRO)Knowledge in Aviation law, both EASA and FAA desiredMS Office skills as userWillingness to travelMust possess a valid driver's licenseManage constant time pressureManage high stress levelsOutdoor weather conditionsMust possess a legal work permit in the U.S.CV/Resume requiredCompany will not provide relocation assistanceAbout Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.Lufthansa Technik is the worldwide leading independent provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft.
