Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in MS Office 365 and MS ProjectAdept at coordinating with agency leadership and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and governance complianceRequired Skills: Project Planning/Execution/Reporting/ClosingProblem Resolution/Critical ThinkingLeading WorkgroupsDefining Schedules/MilestonesLarge System ImplementationExperience with Agile & Waterfall MethodologiesExcellent Verbal/Written CommunicationMS Office 365/MS ProjectResponsibilities:The Project Manager will manage all tasks and aspects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure they are completed on time and within scope and budgetDefine, document, and manage project scope, schedule, and budgetDevelop project charter and work plan, tracking budget and schedule progress via appropriate metricsDevelop, maintain, and distribute standard project management artifacts (including but not limited to risk assessments, project charter, RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) matrix, communication plan, project schedule, status reports)Ensure applicable project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriatelyManage projects within the larger VITA procurement and project management governance processesProvide requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation as neededProvide oversight to ensure projects are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the AgencyCreate and implement a communication planEnsure relevant staff are informed of upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilitiesIdentifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of risks/issues and removal of barriersPerforms financial and administrative functions to ensure successful execution of projectsPrepare financial or budget plans and allocation along with the planning and finance department in accordance with each requirementProvides detailed reports to stakeholders and agency management with respect to the status of the project and expendituresFacilitates project conference calls, status meetings, planning sessions, and provide for meeting notesBe a consultant to stakeholders and communicate project status throughout the project lifecycleAdditional required job duties as assigned
