THAT is Link Snacks.Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe VP Human Resources - NA is a key member of the North America leadership team and is responsible for leading HR strategic initiatives across the region while also providing HR counsel to the North America executive leadership team. We are seeking an experienced HR executive to drive strategies that builds and strengthen organizational culture while ensuring efficiency and organizational alignment. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading strategic HR initiatives across our support center, region and manufacturing sites, and has a proven track record of being a trusted, team focused, results-oriented, HR leader. The VP Human Resources - North America provides leadership by proactively identifying regional manufacturing HR needs and executing plans that deliver results to the regional leadership team and key stakeholders. This position will be a culture carrier for the organization and provides direct support and oversite to the regional HR leadership team.This role demands a dynamic blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and consultative agility. The VP Human Resources North America will be a champion for continuous improvement across all HR policies, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with business goals, ethical standards, and legal frameworks. The role requires collaboration with the Global HR and International Teams regarding policy, process and execution.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:Drive organizational strategy by contributing to the development of company plans and programs as a strategic partner, focusing on the impact on people and culture.Translate business goals into actionable HR strategies with a focus on robust planning, project management, and clearly defined accountability measures.Collaborate with leadership teams to bring HR expertise into business and operational discussions, ensuring alignment between HR strategy and overarching business objectives.Collaborate and Communication with Global HR leadership teams to bring Regional HR expertise and perspective into business and operational discussions, ensuring alignment between regional HR strategy and overarching Global HR Strategy.Build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization to act as an effective problem-solver, change leader, and advocate for the company’s values, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.Develop HR leadership, capacity and capability by leading, developing and partnering with the North America HR team, and overseeing the implementation of an innovative HR service delivery model. Provide leadership, guidance and support to the regional manufacturing HR function in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, engagement and retention, training, leadership development and total rewards. In partnership with Global HR, support Total Rewards strategies that drive performance, motivation, and well-being; while designing programs to meet short- and long-term health and welfare needs for Team Members.Ensure competitive compensation plans for the region that attract, motivate, and retain top-tier talent critical to achieving business success.Drive performance excellence by ensuring the adoption and accountability of effective performance management frameworks and practices. Create a culture built on accountability and “owner’s mindset” and foster a high-performance and positive work environmentSupport Talent Acquisition Strategies to foster a pipeline of high-performing candidates within and outside the company for critical roles ensuring robust succession & development plans.Optimize financial and operational efficiency by developing and managing the HR budget and scorecard, enabling data-driven decision-making and resource allocation.Elevate team member engagement and retention through initiatives that improve well-being, enhance employment branding, and strengthen connections with Team Members, supported by impactful communication strategies.Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to key performance metrics, including affirmative action, succession planning, compensation programs, payroll, and government reporting requirements.Drive policy innovation by enhancing HR systems and infrastructure to streamline operations and improve organizational effectiveness in a dynamic growth environment while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with the North America Leadership Team, Global VP of HR and Global HR Leadership Teams to develop policies, practices, tools that advance HR capabilities, drive engagement and enhance our culture regionally and globally.Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessaryWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However, the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required. The role is based in our Minneapolis, MN support center, and is onsite four days per week. JACK LINK’S CORE VALUES:Be Real, Speed Matters, Stewardship, Relationship Driven, Self-Discipline, and Show Awesome Character.QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequired Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field of study or equivalentRequired Experience: 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience at senior and executive levelExperience supporting a business of at least $800 million in a multi-plant manufacturing environmentExperience in food or consumer goods manufacturing, marketing and distributionDemonstrated success leading directors and senior managers in a complex matrixed environmentDemonstrated experience in building a strategic human resource departmentBroad knowledge and experience in compensation design and implementation, organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, organizational and leadership development, change management, labor relations, payroll, benefits, learning and developmentExperienced in strategic planning, organizational development, and corporate communicationsExperienced working with multiple divisionsDemonstrated self-motivated operator and leader with the ability to constructively challenge the “usual” ways of looking at things and inspire others to do the same. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
