*Overview* Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes through vigilant monitoring and compassionate care. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing services to patients with cardiac and other critical conditions, utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemetry equipment. * Position: RN MS/Telemetry * Location: Springfield, MO * Duration: 26 weeks * Shift: 4x12 (48 hours - Night) * Facility: Mercy Hospital Springfield * EMR: Epic * Scrub Color: Black * Start Date: 11/02 or 11/09 Payrate: 3,347 weekly for 48 hours Requirements: Min 1 year recent RN Telemetry Experience *Duties* * Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, promptly identifying abnormal patterns or changes in patient condition * Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, neurological checks, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans * Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment strategies * Provide patient education on cardiac health, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and well-being * Maintain sterile techniques during procedures such as suturing, catheterization, or specimen collection to prevent infections * Document all nursing interventions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and hospital policies Pay: $3,347.00 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Referral program * Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
