By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical controls.Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance and safety.Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and motor controls.Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety standards, company policies, and relevant electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC).Calibrate and test electrical equipment to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.Document all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent.Recommended QualificationsRed Seal Industrial Electrician certification.5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley preferred).Experience with high-voltage systems (up to 600V).Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems and machinery.Bonus QualificationsExperience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).Formal training or certification in thermography and power quality analysis.Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints using CAD software.Experience with robotic systems maintenance and integration.Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.Job Titles That Should ApplyIndustrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Technician, PLC Electrician, Automation Electrician, Control Panel Wirer, Field Electrician (Industrial), Journeyman Electrician (Industrial), Master Electrician (Industrial), Electrical MechanicWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
