Senior Director, Strategic Operations and Process Transformation (Winnipeg)

About the RoleThe finance team requires additional leadership capacity to advance key transformation priorities and strengthen operational effectiveness across the portfolio. As the scope and complexity of financial operations continue to grow, the position demands a dedicated senior leader focused on driving process improvements, enhancing service delivery, and supporting evolving institutional requirements.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, and a CPA designation.Seven years of related experience in administrative, personnel, financial, and operations management, including project and policy planning in a university environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Excellent knowledge of policies, procedures and collective agreements in a university environment.Excellent knowledge of financial operations including procurement, payables, payroll and research administration.Excellent operational planning and management skills.Ability to independently research, analyze, interpret, and respond appropriately in complex and sensitive situations.Benefits4 weeks' vacation (prorated for the first year)Hybrid-work program for eligible positionsEmployer paid defined benefit pension planOn-campus tuition waiver for employees and their immediate family membersOff-campus tuition reimbursements and professional development funds* (prorated for part-time employees)Employment within the Administrative Professional Excluded Staff group (APEX)Additional InformationThe pay range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for the position.
