Your sound judgment, corporate credit expertise and ability to build trusted relationships will enable you to influence strategic decisions and close complex deals.If you excel at employee engagement, relationship building, and strategic thinking while thriving in a complex and ever-changing environment, this role might be for you.What You'll DoProvide strategic direction and mentor a corporate financing team of senior lenders and sales professionals.Review and authorize complex corporate credit proposals, including syndications and other specialized lending structures.Actively participate in prospecting new customers, developing credit proposals and closing deals.Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with corporate customers, industry partners and other financial institutions.Collaborate with senior management and internal partners to develop and execute business strategies.Lead and manage a district team by ensuring workforce planning, succession, performance and employee engagement.Required QualificationsWhat you'll bring to the teamUniversity degree, MBA or professional designation (CA, CGA, CFA or equivalent)At least 10 years of experience in commercial or corporate financingExperience managing and developing a sales team in a formal leadership roleIn-depth knowledge of corporate credit, lending structures, syndications, and portfolio managementProven experience in managing complex business relationships and coaching highly specialized teamsExcellent communication, negotiation and strategic decision-making skillsPreferred QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of the Canadian agribusiness and food industryNot sure you meet every requirement?
