Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neurosurgery Discipline: Physician Assistant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Locum Tenens Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (Locum Tenens) Clearwater, FL | Morton Plant Hospital - BayCare Medical Group Pay: $110-$130/hr Assignment Details Start: ASAP | Duration: Ongoing Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Call: ~5-7 days/month | Weekend call 1:4 (mostly phone) EMR: Cerner Practice Mix 50% Inpatient & OR (First Assist) 50% Outpatient Clinic Patient Volume: 15-35/day Requirements Active Florida PA License Board Certified PA 1 year Neurosurgery APP experience Brain/Spine & basic imaging experience preferred Join a well-established neurosurgery team (4 Neurosurgeons 3 APPs) at a 600 bed comprehensive stroke center in Clearwater, Florida . High-Response Hooks Strong OR Exposure: Opportunity to first assist in brain and spine cases while also managing inpatient and clinic patients. Supportive Neurosurgery Team: Work with 4 experienced neurosurgeons 3 APPs at Morton Plant Hospital, a 600 bed comprehensive stroke center in Clearwater, Florida. Great Work-Life Balance: Mon-Fri schedule with light call rotation and a 50/50 mix of OR, inpatient rounding, and clinic.
