Job Opportunity In Cambridge, MaPosition located in Cambridge, MARequirements:Shift: RotatingFloating Required: NoMust have acute care experience.Must work every other weekend.Must work every other major holiday.On-Call Requirements: Not required; they do call for volunteers to cover vacant shifts, if needed.Unit Specifics:Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhageRequired Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenoxSpecialty Equipment: Welch Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Khoden; venodynm machine; IV pump; panda warmer; Medela Breast pumpPatients: NewbornNumber of Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care NurserySubmission Requirements:1+ year(s) of experience in Postpartum. Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first time travelers.AHA BLS & NRP required. Lactation certification preferred.Massachusetts RN license requiredEMR Exp Preferred: EPICEstimated Gross Salary: $2916/weekly
