Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Drilling Engineer located in Bakersfield, CA. The Drilling Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing drilling operations to optimize performance and ensure safety and compliance. Daily tasks include well planning, executing drilling programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing drilling performance, and troubleshooting operational challenges. Qualifications Strong expertise in Petroleum Engineering and in-depth knowledge of petroleum extraction processesProficiency in Drilling and Drilling Engineering techniquesExperience with Well Planning for optimal production and safetyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Bakersfield, CABachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum Engineering or a related fieldKnowledge of regulatory compliance and asset retirement strategies is an advantagePrior experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable
