Fraud Operations Specialist
Payrate: $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Summary:The position involves conducting in-depth analysis and investigations to identify and manage fraudulent activities, including customer authentication, fraud investigations, and compliance with fraud policies across all business channels. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze relevant data to confirm or clear fraud and validate customer ID authentication.Evaluate fraud trends related to fraudulent orders and identity theft.Perform research and draw conclusions, notifying appropriate internal staff for customer verification or legal action.Participate in the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures designed to identify and deter fraudulent usage.Investigate and respond to fraud escalations, establishing and improving fraud-related processes.Identify issues and recommend solutions on team projects.Take inbound calls and referrals from victims of fraudulent activities, assessing available information to identify the situation and provide guidance to resolve issues. QualificationsAt least 1 year of relevant experience in fraud, customer service, or a call center environment.High School diploma or equivalent.Experience operating a computer in a Windows-based environment.Must have excellent conversational skills in English.Experience navigating multiple computer screens and programs while interacting with customers on the phone. Desired SkillsGood tone and communication skills, as well as listening skills.Experience in customer service and call center environments.Proficiency in phone skills, typing skills, and good communication skills. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $20.00 - $20.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
