Job Title: Maintenance Generalist - B ShiftLocation: Warren, MI, USType: Full-TimeJob descriptionExternal Job Posting$2000 sign-onPOSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Maintenance Generalist will perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, & systems.REQUIREMENTS:Must have at least six (6) months work experience within the last 12 months to be considered for this position (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).Must have a minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience documented in the work history section of the application.Must have applied mechanical ability documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.Must be able to read & understand assignmentsMust be able to communicate orally & in writingBasic knowledge of math, able to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment.May be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems.Rehires must wait a minimum of 90 days and must have no more than 3 rehires to be eligible for rehire.Preferred: Vocational or College Education in Industrial Maintenance.Opportunities for advancement commensurate with performance and willingness to learn both inside and outside of Plant Operations.What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?
