Controller

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting functions.This role will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and provide financial and operational analysis to support executive leadership and organizational growth.The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and a background in healthcare or professional services environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and internal controlsOversee month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reportingPrepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAPLead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling activitiesSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting team membersCoordinate external audits, tax engagements, and regulatory reporting requirementsSupport executive leadership with financial and operational analysis to assist strategic decision-makingOversee revenue cycle management and partner with operational teams to improve financial performanceEvaluate and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficienciesQualifications & RequirementsCPA and/or MBA required7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experiencePrior public accounting experience preferredMinimum 2 years of supervisory or management experienceHealthcare industry experience strongly preferredDemonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingRevenue cycle management experience requiredExperience with financial systems, ERP platforms, or MIS tools is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary with bonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time off and paid sick leaveLife and disability insuranceFlexible spending and health savings accountsEmployee assistance and referral programsProfessional development supportAdditional InformationFull-time, onsite positionCandidates must be able to commute to the work location
