Locum Wound Care APP (NP or PA-C) needed in Tacoma, WA They would consider PA if a correct fit, but they require a practice agreement at the state level for license NO CALL - NO WEEKENDS Top Hourly + Travel Expenses ( Flights to start and end the assignment, apartment available for lodging, rental car or mileage reimbursement)Hospital Clinic SettingWound Care / Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) Credentialing: 30-45 daysStart: 6/3/2025 or earlier pending credentialing End: 12/1/2025 with option to extend Schedule: M-F 8-4:30Patient Volume: 10-18ppd, sometimes with additional 1-3 HBO patients; occasional inpatient/ER consults, ALL AGES Procedures: Types of procedures/care mostly done in wound care, i.e., pressure ulcers, skin tears: Mostly diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and pressure ulcers. Some surgical dehiscence's, open surgical wounds.EMR: Cerner License: WA or IMLC Certifications: BC, HBO certification required (will wait to get) Relevant Exp: Special wound care skill requirements/competencies needed: debridement; I & D; NPWT; bone biopsies; total contact casting; compression wrapping; management of long-term IV antibiotics for treatment of osteomyelitis; identification of candidates for HBO and supervision of HBO; ordering and interpretation of ABIs, TCOM, vascular ultrasounds, x-rays; ability to make appropriate referrals to specialties like vascular surgery, general surgery, podiatry, orthotics/prosthetics specialistsAdditional Info: 2 MA's for support staff for locum providerPlease contact Travis Short at or
