Crane Parts Counter SpecialistDepartment: Diversified Businesses (DIV)Employment Type: Full TimeLocation: Irving WestReporting To: Paris LilesDescriptionThis position is the main contact for HOLT Crane Parts Counter Specialist and is responsible for the technical support and sale of parts and attachments to HOLT Crane customers. Will be responsible for determining the appropriate procurement and requisition strategies for Crane Parts, while streamlining the purchasing of these parts to leverage purchasing opportunities from vendors. Will investigate and recommend process improvements and other technology to be purchased that will improve counter and shop sales functions. Will be responsible for providing training on these solutions to Parts department employees.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrated alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaboration with key internal/external resources and 3) Ongoing self-development.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of crane experience-Hydraulic, rough terrain, and crawler crane experience PreferredThis position requires a self-motivated, energetic, detail-oriented individual with good analytical skills.Must have a high school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's licenseFamiliarized with basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAble to work from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.Strong customer service skills both internal and external, which include the willingness to respond to the customers' emergency parts needs at any timeParts counter experience PreferredExperience with a computerized parts management system preferredMust be organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentFluent in Spanish is highly desired.A punctual employee with a positive attitude.Disclaimer: Please note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
