Bernice Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Van Driver. (Part-Time/Full-Time)General DescriptionUnder the direction of the Executive Director the Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to planned activities and medical service providers.Essential Duties1. Provides a safe, clean environment for residents in accordance with Resident CarePolicies and Procedures.2. Drives company-owned vehicles in order to transport residents to appointments oractivities.3. Tests vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, and windshield wipers inorder to verify proper, legal operation.4. Notifies the Executive Director of any necessary repairs or mechanical problemsin a timely manner.5. Picks up residents at prearranged locations and transports to specific destinations.6. Verifies that the Facility and its equipment are properly maintained for residentcomfort and convenience.7. Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positiveemphasis as well as a calm environment for the residents during transport.8.
