Introduction A brand new veterinary hospital opening in Summer 2026 in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its founding clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of launching a modern practice from the ground up, helping shape the hospital's culture, clinical standards, and team environment. The hospital will focus on delivering high-quality general practice medicine while creating a supportive workplace where veterinarians can develop their interests and build long-term careers. Working Hours / Rota The schedule will be designed to support consistent patient access while maintaining a balanced and sustainable workload for the veterinary team. Flexible scheduling options will allow veterinarians to maintain a healthy work-life balance while practicing high-quality medicine. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for companion animals, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, medical case management, and routine surgical and dental procedures. Responsibilities include performing examinations, developing treatment plans, communicating clearly with pet owners, and working closely with technicians and support staff to deliver efficient and compassionate care. As part of a newly opening hospital, the veterinarian will also have the opportunity to contribute to establishing clinical protocols and shaping the workflow of the practice as it grows. Practice Details This new hospital will provide modern general practice veterinary services while emphasizing continued clinical development and innovation. Veterinarians will have access to hands-on advanced skills training labs designed to support ongoing learning and clinical progression.
