Established Jan 1st 2020. We are looking for an Esthetician who we think will be a perfect fit for our fast-growing business. As the need of our clients continues to grow so does our staff! We are located in a New Beautiful Building in Down Town Long Beach with a very diverse client base. We have built a strong client base of over 300 clients in our first year and are now looking to grow our family of Esthetician's. This job is an amazing opportunity for those with an open mind and willingness to learn in detail about advanced skin care treatments and how to treat acne. We carry only the best of equipment and are technology advanced from our Hydrafacial machine to our dictation and charting / note taking and follow up abilities. We expect only the best customer service skills at all times. This position is not for everyone. You will be held to a high standard of care and will be expected to have excellent hand on skills, documentation skills and communications skills with management and clients. We are offering full time and part time positions with opportunities for Bonuses and Growth within the company. This position requires our Esthetician to be able to work alone and be able to Schedual, Reschedule, assess, Plan, perform, Communicate and check out clients for treatments and products. Assists clients in delivering the most therapeutically beneficial, professionally elegant and consistent facial treatments, Scalp treatments, Body treatments and Lip and Eye services available; while providing self-skin care and home care education ensuring long lasting results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Performs facial treatments, microdermabrasion, HydraFacial’s, Body peels, Body treatments, and Lip and Eye treatments Upholds to the Mission and Vison of Simply Me Skin Care and Med Spa while adhering to the companies “High 5 Core Values” (Honest, Inspire, Fun, Beautiful, Respect) Evaluates clients’ individual needs and expectations to determine most effective services or programs Interacts cooperatively with other spa team members to provide a seamless customer experience Presents a warm, gracious, and professional persona for clients and co-workers Adheres to a high professional standard in dress, grooming, language, and lifestyle Actively builds repeat clientele Properly cares for spa equipment and uses recommended amounts of product to help with cost controls Actively promotes home care programs and meets minimum retail sales target Upholds high standards of sterilization and sanitation as required by law and the policies and procedures of the spa Performs preparation work such as laundry and properly cleans and restocks work area as required Communicates to the management any occurrences involving guests or staff in the spa that require attention Manage guests’ concerns and questions professionally and courteously Operate cash registers to receive payments from patrons Update and maintain documentation for customer information records, such as beauty services provided Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High School Diploma, GED, or related education/experience Excellent ability to utilize time properly when booking and scheduling clients Esthetician experience in a salon or spa setting is "PREFERED' but not mandatory Must be a Critical thinker and able to perform all treatments per protocol to provide best and safe practice (All New Hires must complete a 2/3 week training course with Simply Me Skin Care and Med Spa before they will be allowed to perform treatments on their own) Able to quickly learn, adapt and perform new facial protocols as well as use of new equipment Flexible work availability Must hold current state license Enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality Expert multitasker with ability to function independently Timely, neat, organized and able to pay attention to detail Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as moderate computer knowledge Keep track of inventory and maintain precise cash register balance Must be a team player Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
