Senior Associate Trial Attorney - Civil Litigation

If you are Senior Associate Trial Attorney with 10+ years of experience in Civil Litigation please read on! Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney to lead and manage complex civil litigation matters from intake through trial. The role will focus on delivering superior courtroom advocacy, developing case strategies, supervising junior attorneys, and maintaining strong client relationships. The successful candidate will have deep trial experience, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to handle a diverse civil caseload including defense and Plaintiff matters as needed. Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of litigation including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacyDevelop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients through trial or negotiated resolutionConduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and handle courtroom examinations and argumentsDraft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other litigation documentsManage a docket of complex civil matters, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and maintain accurate case files and time/billing recordsSupervise, mentor, and train associates, paralegals, and support staff; delegate tasks and provide constructive feedbackEngage with clients to provide clear, practical legal advice and regular case updates; build and maintain client trustCoordinate with experts, investigators, and outside counsel to support case development and litigation strategyNegotiate settlements and resolve disputes where appropriate while protecting client interestsParticipate in business development activities, contribute to practice growth, and represent the firm professionally in the legal community QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the state barMinimum 10 years of civil litigation experience with substantial trial experience and a proven record of courtroom successDemonstrated expertise in litigation, attorney duties, and conducting trials (required)Strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills; ability to distill complex issues into persuasive argumentsExperience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and staff; proven leadership and case management abilityExcellent client counseling, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsCapacity to manage a heavy caseload, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlinesHigh ethical standards and commitment to professional conduct and firm policiesNice-to-have: experience or familiarity with Personal Injury, Associate-level responsibilities, Employment defense matters, Defense-oriented practice, defending Accident and Slip-and-Fall claims, motor vehicle/Auto cases, Construction defect litigation, and other Civil matters Benefits PTO 401K Medical, Dental, Vision Quarterly Bonuses
