NSI P3 Hand MIG Welder
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hand MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding on a variety of metal components, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and production standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals as required Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to determine specifications Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, amperage, and gas flow Inspect materials and completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications Clean and prepare surfaces prior to welding (grinding, cutting, etc.) Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines and procedures Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or safety concerns Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred AWS Certificate Minimum of 1-2 years of MIG welding experience (or equivalent training) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments Work Environment:Manufacturing or warehouse setting Exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and loud noise (proper PPE required at all times 3rd shift - 10:00PM - 6 :30AM Sunday- Thursday
