Selected candidate will be part of a team and involved in all facets of a project including business development, client management, project management, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.Hiring bonus of up to $1,000 for selected candidate!What You'll Do:--Primary Duties--Fulfilling requirements as Landscape Architect for the design, permitting and construction administration of projects.Preparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents in CAD to include jurisdictional code compliant landscape planting plans, planting designs, and hardscape design.Oversight of project design team including engineers, architects, designers, consultants and clients.Collaboration with other firm landscape architects, architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.Research, interpretation and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.Development, implementation and utilization of CAD standards and templates.Preparation of specifications, review of shop drawings, and construction administration support as Landscape Architect.Periodic travel to perform business development, project management, site investigations, measurements, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation or review of subsequent reports and exhibits.Oversight and assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submittal to agencies having jurisdiction.Oversight and mentoring project Landscape Architects, Designers and Technicians.Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.Development, negotiation and management of project scope, proposals, planning, schedules, budgets and billing.Expert testimony and representation at public hearings and meetings.Management of clients and national account programs.What You'll Need:--Requirements--Degree in Landscape Architecture and Florida Licensure (or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire) is required. Ability to obtain additional state licensure through reciprocity is a plus.3+ years of US landscape design experience.Knowledge of Irrigation DesignExperience in Public Park, FDOT/LAP and National Commercial Programs is a plus.Ability to prepare hand sketches and perspectives is a plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
