We work cross-functionally with business leaders to provide the financial clarity that drives smart, fast decision-making in a high-growth environment.About the roleAs a contract Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger integrity for Trustly's US entity. This is a hands-on role with real impact, where you'll keep our books clean, our close process on track, and our financial reporting accurate.What you'll doManage the full-cycle general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all accounting entries in accordance with US GAAPDrive the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsPrepare and review internal financial statements and management reports for senior leadershipCollaborate with FP&A, and other business partners to ensure financial data consistency across reporting functionsMaintain and strengthen internal controls, identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce riskTake ownership of ad hoc projects and requests as they arise, bringing the same rigor and accountability to unplanned work as to core responsibilitiesWho you are5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a manager or lead capacityStrong command of US GAAP and hands-on experience with general ledger management and financial close processesProficient in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and comfortable working in a tech-forward, fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage competing deadlines without sacrificing accuracyA collaborative communicator who can translate accounting details into clear insights for non-finance stakeholdersCPA certification is a plus, but not required
