Position Summary The candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring the FAR compliance of the Metrea Aircraft Integration Center Part 145 Repair Station materials, consumables and tools. The role will be responsible for improving and maintaining all aspects of our MAIC logistical operations, including the management of the operating site materials, inventory, shipping and receiving. The role is critical for the support of material readiness, inventory and accountability of all corporate materials, aviation parts, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), tools and commercial products as well as providing pricing and procurement solutions including customs and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) import and export compliance. What You'll DoWork within ISO9001/AS9100 QMS and support continuous improvement within said systems. Manage flightline logistics needs, daily Maintenance work requirements, scheduled aircraft maintenance visits.Be able to derive data from an ERP and communicate via tools like Excel and/or Power-Bi status, shortages, audit compliance, projected needs, etc.Manage Kitting activities to ensure kits are appropriately constructed of requisite parts from BOM and shortages are communicated/managed. Organize and manage site logistics warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and security of materials. Improve and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Support the management and disposition of Government Furnished Equipment. Work with the Head of Global Logistics in the Management of the Import and Export processes to maintain compliance and ensure rapid delivery of all aircraft parts, materials, and supplies. Address and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies promptly and effectively at site locations. Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including carriers, suppliers, and customers. Liaise with procurement to ensure rapid purchasing of hard-to-find parts for aircraft. Develop solutions to resolve difficult or complicated problems. Promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables. Partner with our experienced and talented Supply Chain and Global Logistics team alongside various Metrea Capability Areas and will need to learn the various work streams and requirements for the entire global enterprise. Support team members, suppliers, service providers and various governments across both the US and InternationallyManage shifting and competing priorities that align with the business strategyWhat You'll bring Knowledge and understanding of FAR compliance requirements as it relate to Part 145 and Part 21 activitiesKnowledge and understanding of Aviation Part Numbers/Alternate Part Numbers and National Stock Numbers.At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading a materials room/supply chain effort in a FAA Part 145 environment.Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints for the purpose of identifying aircraft parts requirements. Experience with Logiquest/NSN Now/Parts Base/ILS/DLA-Fedmall, or similar system. High level of learning, strategic thinking, team building, conflict resolution and time management.Preferably hold a bachelor's degree, or higher, from an accredited university.Aviation and Defense contracting experience.Extensive and demonstrable experience with various ERP systems and Microsoft Office utilities necessary to manage, predict and report on repair station materials/kitting requirements.Experience interacting with and counselling senior business leaders.Excellent communication skills, verbally and in a written format, for briefing and presentation delivery to employees, management, and customers.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Additional Eligibility Qualifications Willingness and ability to travel internationallyOur Firmware At Metrea, our single core value, Rooted in Humility, and our four cornerstone attributes—Entrepreneurial, Systematic, Discerning, and Over-Deliver.
