Utility Assembler

Utility MM Technics – Prosperity, SC MM Technics LP is German based, tier one supplier to the automotive OEM’s in South Carolina. The Prosperity plant joins a corporate family that has manufacturing operations in Germany and Poland. MM Technics is looking to hire a qualified Utility Assembler for our 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Position Snapshot: Under supervision, this entry level position will weld/clinch finished parts. Continuously interacts with production, planning, inventory management, purchasing, and shipping. Responsibilities: Spot weld/clinch stamped parts according to specs. Be available for flexible hours and over-time as needed. · Perform all duties according to safety guidelines. · Other duties as assigned by plant management Requirements: · Minimum two (2) years manufacturing/production experience, preferred · High School Diploma or equivalent · The ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment · Proven ability to stay focused and complete tasks in a timely manner with limited supervision · The ability to be proactive and look for opportunities to make a difference · The ability to adapt to new/difficult situations · Ability to spot weld finished parts to customer specification · Ability to operate a pallet jack · The ability to focus attention on detailed requirements and tasks · Ability to comply with all facility safety rules WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will require continuous standing, walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, working overhead and lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Frequent pushing/pulling of a moving cart and moving/lifting equipment.
