Maintenance Technician

Up to $25 per hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year)NorthEast Residential Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work well around people, be able to prioritize maintenance tickets, while maintaining multiple office space and homes.Job RequirementsPerforms necessary work orders, assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, Program/House Manager or COO and documents necessary information in Monday.com.Prepares vacated homes/rooms when designated.Depending on the site/need, work may include cleaning of common areas of buildings according to site maintenance schedule and NRS standards. Keeps grounds free of debris, removes and properly disposes of rubbish and trash.Performs necessary seasonal grounds maintenance including but not necessarily limited to: snow/ice removal, pruning of trees/shrubbery, mowing of lawn, planting etc.Rotates emergency coverage with Maintenance Supervisor as required.Maintains the workshop, utility room(s), mechanical rooms, and workspaces to ensure the rooms are kept clean, orderly, and safe from potential hazard.Repairs/replaces major appliances as required (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, garbage disposaland washers and dryers). Seeks assistance from Maintenance Supervisor when necessaryAble to handle after-hour emergency calls and be on-call as needed.Prepares surfaces and paints building interiors as necessary.Walks properties weekly/monthly to look for maintenance/safety concerns that need attention.Works with vendors as needed.Ability to work independently, using own technical knowledge and judgment.
