IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking Electrical Apprentices to work Part-Time in Norfolk, NE during registration in a Community College or Technical School - Electrical Training Program.Job SummaryUnder direct supervision assists electrical journeyperson in installation and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and other equipment as a currently registered student in a 2-Year or 4-Year Electrical Training ProgramWorks part-time while attending school on an as-needed work schedule and full-time during school semester breaks/non-attendance required periodsComplies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.QualificationsCurrent registration in Community College or Technical School Electrical Training ProgramHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to obtain/maintain State of Nebraska Electrical Apprentice LicenseAbility to read labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructionsReliable transportation to and from work and training classesSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.Company Overview: IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
