Maintenance Planner (Williamsport)

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using a CMMS systemReview work orders for accuracy, scope, labor requirements, timing, materials, and safety considerationsEnsure all parts, tools, equipment, permits, and labor are available before scheduled maintenance beginsCreate purchase requisitions and manage parts ordering to support maintenance operationsMaintain accurate spare parts inventory levels to reduce downtime while controlling costsCoordinate maintenance and service schedules for company vehicles and forkliftsWork closely with maintenance leadership to optimize scheduling and workforce utilizationReview completed work orders for documentation accuracy, labor variances, and closure qualityAnalyze maintenance trends and recommend improvements to preventive/predictive maintenance programsTrack spending and support adherence to maintenance budgetsRetrieve urgent parts and supplies from vendors when neededKeep parts rooms and storage areas organized, clean, and audit-readyParticipate in after-hours or emergency parts support as neededPrepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance performance reportsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required4+ years of related maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory, or parts management experience required5+ years in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment preferredExperience using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and work order managementStrong inventory control, purchasing, budgeting, and forecasting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace / G-SuiteStrong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionallyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPhysical & Work EnvironmentWork is performed in office, warehouse, and manufacturing settingsExposure to noise, temperature changes, moving machinery, and industrial conditionsMust be able to lift materials and parts as neededValid driver's license with clean driving record required
