QualificationsBachelor's Degree Engineering preferred but not required if experience clearly demonstrates true engineering-level capability10+ years developing machining and processing plans for complex, high-difficulty metallic components Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred with extensive, hands-on experience machining hardened metals, including:Tough and hard steelsTitaniumDeep understanding of post-machining processes, such as:Heat treatingPlatingSurface treatments and their effects on material properties and performanceDemonstrated mastery of machining methods—not surface-level familiarity, Strong knowledge of:CNC machining techniquesTooling strategiesMachine selectionProven ability to read, interpret, and critique detailed technical drawings and specificationsPractical, long-tenure experience (“seen it, done it” background)Comfortable and motivated as a senior individual contributor (not seeking people management)Familiarity with heavy CNC machining environments and build-to-print workU.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required (federal contracts)No security clearance required
