An academic-affiliated Hospital in eastern Massachusetts is adding a Geriatric Psychiatry Physician due to growth. About the Opportunity: 100% Inpatient Join one other Psychiatrist and one APRN The position is open to a general Psychiatrist or Geriatric Psychiatrist Cases include: Geriatric Psychiatry, Dementia, adult cases, depression and anxiety Re-envisioning geriatric psychiatry in the system Option to do consults however not required We are opening the 21-bed unit to adult inpatients in addition to geriatric patients The expected daily patient census is 10. Bonuses for seeing additional patients This is a Med/Psych unit so there is a medical service to co-manage patients and treat medical presentation Call is not required and is paid additionally Medical Student Teaching.
