Physical Therapist Location: Mammoth Lakes, CA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,969 to $2,163 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist City/State: Mammoth Lakes, California Shift: Day shifts, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 04/27/2026 Job Description: Physical Therapists are responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment, formulation of a treatment plan and goals, and administration of the physical therapy treatments. They will be active in inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff. Responsibilities: Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient's diagnosis. Develops treatment plans, including reassessment and revision every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient's progress. Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis. Documents progress reports for patients in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement. In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, will share with other PTs coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy and a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
