Investment Coordinator

Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Investment Coordinator will be a productive contributor to the Wealth Management department. Under limited supervision, provide administrative support to Advisors in the Wealth Management department, while delivering superior service to Members and internal team members in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.Key ResponsibilitiesMember Service:Provide exceptional service to all internal and external Members and partnersCall Members referred to the Wealth Management department by branch, Member Service Center, or other referralsMake and receive calls from Members to assist with questions, investment transactions and problem resolutionEnsure maximum flexibility to relieve and/or assist in a variety of functions as neededResponsible for relationship building, including working with existing Investment Members and potential Investment MembersAssist Advisors and department team members with service-related mattersIdentify issues requiring escalation to Financial Advisor or department managementAdministrative:Maintain a high degree of accuracy and accountability in support of all Financial Advisors, investment Member clients, and Member prospectsSubmit required trade documentation to broker dealer to meet regulation-mandated deadlinesEnsure all required account documents are acquired, updated, and scanned to Members’ Investment accountAppropriately plan and organize daily work and projects, anticipating workload and foreseeing obstaclesMaintain confidentiality of correspondence, documents, discussions, meetings, and telephone callsProficiently utilize the broker dealer provided platform, if applicable, to process Member investment requests and update account informationFollow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely processing of investment requestsSort, distribute, and process interoffice mail and incoming mailOrganize and maintain electronic storage system for department files to ensure proper storagePerform duties specific to reporting/marketing/operations as assignedRemain compliant to with FINRA, SEC and other Self Regulator Organization or Federal regulations when working with clients, 3rd party Vendors, and other team membersCoordinate and assemble Member mailings as directedAssist in coordinating seminars, Member appreciation and other community events for the Wealth Management DepartmentOther Functions:Lend clerical and administrative support to other managers - SVP Wealth, Insurance and Deposit Services, VP Wealth Management, Deposit Products Manager, or other members of the Leadership Team as assignedPerform other duties as assignedJoin us and discover why you'll love working at Redwood Credit Union!ABOUT REDWOOD CREDIT UNION (RCU):At Redwood Credit Union, our mission is to passionately serve the best interests of our Members and communities. Credit Union/bank experience preferred.Compensation: Base starting range: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour commensurate with experience.Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
