Maintenance Technician I – 3rd ShiftPosition OverviewThe Maintenance Technician I plays a key role in supporting day-to-day plant operations by maintaining production machinery and facility systems in safe, reliable working condition. This entry-level maintenance position focuses primarily on mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment upkeep to help minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine mechanical maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues to prevent equipment failures and production interruptions.Support preventative maintenance activities according to established schedules.Document completed work, repairs, and maintenance activities within a computerized maintenance tracking system.Safely operate production equipment when necessary for testing or verification purposes.Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all workplace safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Work flexible hours and overtime as needed to support production requirements.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is a plus).Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using basic shop tools.Ability to safely operate standard maintenance equipment.Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance tracking software.Dependable with consistent attendance and strong work ethic.Preferred:Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Exposure to preventative maintenance programs.Technical training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or related field (electrical knowledge helpful but not required).Position DetailsEmployment Type: Full-TimeShift: 3rd ShiftSchedule: Sunday – ThursdayHours: 11:45 PM – 8:15 AM
