Delivery & Operations Associate - Survey & Construction Supply

Description: The Delivery & Operations Associate - Survey & Construction Supply plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely product delivery to customers while supporting day-to-day branch operations. This position is responsible for coordinating & completing deliveries, handling order entry and billing, supporting warehouse and retail operations, and assisting with inter-branch inventory & equipment transfers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment. This position operates within a normal M-F work schedule.Responsibilities:Delivery & LogisticsOperate a company-provided delivery van for local deliveries; no CDL or operation of large commercial vehicles required.Safely load, transport, and deliver products to customer offices, warehouses, and jobsitesPlan and manage daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet customer expectationsLoad and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring product protection and accuracyOrganize and stage delivered materials in customer warehouses & storerooms when requiredComplete inter-branch inventory & equipment transfers as neededOrder & Operations SupportEnter sales orders and process billing accurately within the ERP systemPick, pull, and prepare inventory for customer ordersAssist with inventory counts, restocking, and general warehouse organizationSupport retail showroom stocking, organization, presentationAssist branch team with front counter coverage as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and delivery environmentOther tasks as required by managementCustomer InteractionServe as a professional, customer-facing representative of Duncan-ParnellCommunicate clearly with customers regarding deliveries, questions, and basic order supportProvide sales and service support by identifying issues and escalating when appropriateRequirements: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesCustomer-focused, professional demeanorAbility to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks regularlyValid driver’s license with satisfactory DMV record (must meet company insurance requirements)Ability to safely operate a forklift to load & unload trucks and stock warehouseBasic computer skills (email, Word, Excel)Must support and abide by Company’s values, mission, policies, and practicesBenefits:· Medical, dental, vision, accident, life, & long-term disability insurance available· Medical and dependent care FSA or HSA· 401(k) Retirement Plan· Paid Parental Leave· PTO & HolidaysThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
