Construction Project Engineer

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to support large-scale data center construction projects. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in construction management or hands-on field experience who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with potential for permanent placement based on performance and project needs.Pay & Per Diem:$45-48/hour (straight time)$800 weekly per diem Key Responsibilities:Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale data center construction projectsSupport project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordinationReview and manage construction documents, drawings, and specificationsUse Bluebeam and related software for document control, takeoffs, and trackingMonitor field progress to ensure alignment with plans and quality standardsCoordinate with field teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain schedulesMaintain accurate project documentation, reports, and logsEnsure adherence to safety standards and company proceduresQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field OR 3+ years of relevant field experienceExperience on large-scale construction projects (data center experience preferred)Proficiency with Bluebeam and construction/project management toolsStrong technical and computer skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel to project sites as neededAbility to work extended hours (56–60+ hours/week)What We Offer:$45-48/hour pay plus $800 weekly per diemTemp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potentialExposure to large-scale, high-profile data center projectsCareer growth in a fast-paced construction environment56-60+ hours a week
