Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in hotel management or guest relations is preferred, along with multilingual abilities to serve our diverse clientele. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure, providing a positive first impression
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records
Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
Assist with night audit procedures when required, ensuring accurate financial transactions and record keeping
Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of hotel management software is advantageous
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights if required by the resort or hotel operations
Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing the hotel brand

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
