This role ensures accurate and timely movement of materials to support manufacturing, assembly, and shipping operations.This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency by managing inventory accuracy, monitoring production flow, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily stockroom operations, including material handling, order picking, and internal transfersEnsure proper material flow to support assembly, lens manufacturing, and coating operationsMonitor work-in-progress (WIP) and identify bottlenecks to maintain production efficiencyCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments across internal warehouses and 3PL partnersMaintain accurate inventory across all storage locations, including Kardex and warehouse systemsOversee receiving, storage, and replenishment of materials to meet production demandsConduct cycle counts and support physical inventory processesPartner with sourcing and supply chain teams to address defects, shortages, and replenishment needsTrack and report on key operational metrics such as throughput, inventory accuracy, and order flowUse data to identify trends, drive accountability, and improve performanceProvide regular updates to leadership on operational performance and challengesLead, coach, and develop stockroom and logistics team membersManage scheduling and daily priorities to meet operational goalsConduct team huddles to align on priorities, safety, and performance expectationsFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementPartner with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and CX teams to align inventory and order flowCollaborate with Finance and Business Systems to ensure accurate inventory reportingSupport process improvements to enhance efficiency across operationsEnsure compliance with all safety protocols and company standardsPromote safe use of equipment and proper material handling practicesMaintain a safe and organized work environmentQualifications3+ years of experience in inventory control, stockroom, or logistics within a manufacturing or distribution environment1+ years of experience leading or supervising teamsExperience with inventory management systems (Kardex preferred)Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentCore CompetenciesResults-driven leadership and accountabilityStrong prioritization and decision-making skillsContinuous improvement mindsetCross-functional collaborationAttention to detail and accuracyPair is an equal opportunity employer.
