Maintenance Planner

Maintenance PlannerWe are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruptions to operations.Develop detailed work plans, including labor and material requirements, and ensure work orders are complete and accurate.Monitor and update maintenance metrics, such as work order completion rates, downtime, and equipment availability.Ensure all maintenance activities are in compliance with safety and environmental regulationsWork with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.Review and evaluate maintenance procedures and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and other staff as needed.RequiredMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field.Strong understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.Knowledge of maintenance software and systems, such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Special Soft Skills NeededMust exhibit exemplary communication skillsMust exhibit a leader-coach mentality and act as a change agent with a team-oriented focusMust be able to demonstrate being a key leader within cultural change.Ability to comprehend complex problemsEffectively communicate targets and goals to his/her team.Gives and takes constructive feedbackCapability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others.Proven problem-solving skills and high level of independence (in planning, organization, execution and control)Mindset of challenging and embracing change.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
