This role is ideal for a proven security professional with leadership experience who is dependable, professional, and customer-service driven.As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site security operations, leading Security Officers, and ensuring all post orders, policies, and safety standards are followed. You will serve as a key point of contact between officers, clients, and branch leadership while maintaining a safe and secure environment.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support Security Officers during assigned shiftsEnsure compliance with DSI policies, client requirements, and post instructionsMaintain a safe and secure environment through visible leadership, patrols, and oversightRespond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and escalated situationsObserve, report, and address safety hazards, suspicious activity, and security concernsAssist with training, coaching, and performance accountability of assigned personnelComplete incident reports, shift logs, and required documentation accurately and timelyServe as a professional representative of DSI with clients, visitors, and the publicParticipate in required training and ensure team compliance with DSI safety policies and manuals Qualifications & RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)Previous security experience requiredDemonstrated supervisory or leadership experience requiredValid state driver's license (required)Reliable transportation and consistent means of communication (required)Basic to intermediate computer proficiency required (report writing, scheduling, and electronic systems)Strong written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions requiredMust successfully pass all pre-employment requirements One of the following is required:Prior military, law enforcement, or corrections experience ORA minimum of two (2) years of verifiable security supervisory experience Certification RequirementsValid state driver's licenseValid Maryland Security License Available ShiftFirst ShiftSecond ShiftThird Shift BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance Required ScreeningsCriminal Background CheckMotor Vehicle ScreeningDrug Screen$19.00 per hour#PADSI Security Services is a drug-free employer and complies with all applicable laws regarding affirmative action and equal opportunity in all its activities and programs and does not discriminate against anyone protected by law because of age, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, handicap, or status as a veteran or disabled veteran.
