Physician / Pulmonology / Maryland / Locum tenens / Pulmonologist needed Job

Client in Western Maryland is in need of Pulmonary only coverage for April 5-April 19. - Sleep Background preferred- Both Inpatient and Outpatient Job- Work in office and handle consults that come through the hospital- Monday-Friday (Note on Fridays: Half Day in Office other half will be handling pulm consults following up on patients from the week)- No after hours, No Sat/Sun, No Holiday Call, No night call- Call during the day (Inhouse/Telephone, she mentioned most locums prefer communication via cell so usually no pager)- Census: 150-160 (varies)- Office Building is connected to the hospital so no travel- Admissions: vary quite a bit, would say about 5-10 a week- Average daily visits: 8-10 patients a day (new patients)- Hospital consults: dictated on follow up (pulm patients seen at the hospital are almost always tied to the office for follow up)- Only procedure done that could be done is: bronchoscopy- Physician could be solo some days and not others.- Multiple service lines available in the hospital- Range from asthma patients to lung mass patients
