The Epic Analyst – HIM (Health Information Management) is responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of Epic’s Health Information Management module, including Release of Information(ROI), Deficiency Tracking, Identity, Coding and Document Management.This role ensures that HIM workflows are fully integrated into the electronic health record system, supporting compliance with regulatory standards, improving documentation practices, and enhancing access to health records. You will:Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic HIM modules(ROI, Deficiency Tracking, Identity, Coding)Partner with HIM and operational teams to evaluate workflows and implement Epic solutionsEnsure HIM systems meet compliance standards (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission)Support ROI processes, chart corrections, and patient identity managementPlan and execute system upgrades and testingTroubleshoot issues and provide technical support to HIM usersCreate reports and dashboards for HIM performance metricsRequired Skills and Experience:2+ years of Epic HIM Certification in modules such as Release of Information (ROI), Identity, Coding, and Deficiency Tracking2+ years of experience configuring, building, testing, and maintaining Epic HIM modules2+ years of experience assessing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing Epic-based solutions2+ years of experience ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission) within Epic HIM configurationsDesired Skills and Experience:Epic HIM certification.Strong knowledge of HIM operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements.US Citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
