Staff Accountant

Title: Staff Accountant Location: Tysons Corner, VA (hybrid) Compensation:$65,000-$70,000 Our client, a global nonprofit organization, is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their growing accounting department. This position goes into the client's Tysons Corner, VA office on a hybrid schedule and is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Successful incumbent will have a Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of accounting experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances Journal entries Month-end close assistance Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree 3+ years of accounting experience or an internship held in accounting (required)
