Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianPay: $26/hourLocation: West Sacramento, CAOverviewWe are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced pharmacy team in West Sacramento. This role supports prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and quality control while ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance.This is not a customer-facing role; this is a warehouse/office-based assignment.This is a great opportunity with potential to convert to a permanent position and join a highly engaged team environment.ScheduleTraining: First 3 weeks full-time (Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)After training: Part-time schedule determined by business needs- typically 32-40 hours workedMandatory overtime may be requiredPay$26 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesFill prescription vials with tablets and capsules accuratelyLocate and verify medications using computer systems and scannersReplenish automated dispensing units and manage inventoryPerform quality checks for expired or damaged medicationsConduct cycle counts and assist with inventory discrepancy researchPrepare specialty and cold-chain prescriptions for shipmentPack and ship prescriptions while maintaining HIPAA complianceEscalate issues and assist with problem resolution when neededRequirementsActive California Pharmacy Technician License (Required)At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (externships do not qualify)High school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred: PTCB CertificationIf this sounds like you, apply today!Pay Details: $26.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
