Role Name: Thermal Performance Engineer Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan Job Description: The Thermal Performance Engineer will ensure that vehicle functional objectives are achieved and will recommend actions to the Product team. The selected candidate will conduct reviews of functional systems (simulation and testing), cooling system status with program chiefs, development test planning with lab engineers, and hot trip execution for assigned programs. This role includes leading communication and reporting of issues, providing status updates, and driving issue resolution. The engineer will support proactive planning and tracking of vehicle validation, thermal/aero attributes, and DVP&R testing and reporting. Occasional interaction with exterior styling studio teams is required. The role also involves vehicle thermal system instrumentation, testing, diagnosis, and troubleshooting for BEV and ICE platforms, as well as BEV energy consumption solutions.
