If you're ready to work on systems that literally connect the world, this is your role.What You'll DoDevelop technical solutions for new subsea telecom cable systems using in-house design tools based on customer requirementsCoordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Marine, Sales, PM) on technical proposals and bid strategyDefine project scope for R&D engineers; support sales through contract negotiations and customer technical discussionsPartner with PLM to define product features for system bidsAssist in developing and testing software tools, templates, and calculatorsWhat You BringBS in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)Background in fiber optics and telecommunicationsFamiliarity with coherent optical transmission, DWDM, EDFA/Raman amplification, ROADM preferredStrong communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as neededSince this is a direct hire position, benefits will be discussed at time of offer/hire.
