If you're ready to lead cutting-edge optical R&D at the highest level, this role delivers.What You'll DoLead undersea optical product design and prototyping from concept through customer deliveryManage a team of electro-optical engineers across amplifier design, prototyping, and next-generation product developmentDrive cross-functional integration of optical, electronic, mechanical, and firmware engineeringParticipate in requirements development and design reviewsProduce manufacturing test requirements; analyze production test data and support disposition activitiesDevelop relationships with internal partners and key external suppliersCoordinate with field installation teams on deployed equipmentWhat You BringMS or PhD in Optics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experienceAdvanced fiber optical engineering skills including deep EDFA design expertise and hands-on experienceStrong knowledge of fiber optic components and undersea system technologyExperience in fiber optic/electronic testing, lab automation, qualification, and reliability standardsProven ability to lead diverse, highly skilled technical teamsStrong project planning and risk mitigation capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsComprehensive benefits package discussed at time of interview and offer.
