Working in our retail stores requires our retail sales team to provide each and every customer with the energy for an exceptional Lids experience, maintain our meticulous product presentations, and be a subject matter expert in our products and services.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate revenue:Achieve revenue growth through customer serviceMeet or exceed company goals in all individual statisticsEngage in store maintenance according to current visual guidelines, including: proper sales, signage, and store cleanlinessMaintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress codeAdditional Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesControl costs:Protect the company's assets within the guidelines of LIDS retailParticipate in store inventory management, including processing shipments and returnsAssistance in the correct and timely counting of the productsSupport and follow all LIDS retail policies, procedures and principlesPerform other assigned tasksJob Required Knowledge & SkillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional mannerAbility to read and operate a computerAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb a ladder and work with hands overheadStanding required for up to 100% of the timePreferred Job Required Knowledge & SkillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally clearly and professionallyAbility to read and operate a computerAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb a ladder and work with your hands over your headAbility to stand on its feet up to 100% of the working timeAssociates start at local minimum wage with up to 10% more based on experience.
